The engine is not coupled to the wheels directly. a generator is attached to the engine which generates the electricity. the generator can charge the Lithium-ion battery. and battery supplies the power to the motor. motor are coupled to the wheel directly. which can drive a car.
- parallel hybrid. in the parallel hybrid, motor and engine can give the power to the vehicle individually or together. both are connected by a dual clutch. the motor can deliver the power to start the vehicle.
